Recipe #1 Super Easy Potato Broccoli Cheese Soup

6 cups water
6 chicken bouillon cubes
1 pkg frozen shredded hash browns
1 pkg frozen broccoli florets
1 lb pkg Velveeta cheese, cubed
2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 can evaporated milk
1Tbsp onion powder
salt & pepper to taste
1 pkg real bacon bits

In large pan bring water, bouillon cubes and onion powder to a boil add frozen broccoli. Let cook till almost tender, add frozen hash browns, cook till tender. Add soup one can at a time, stirring until lumps are gone. Add evaporated milk, stir. Add cheese, stirring constantly. If you don't stir cheese it settles on bottom of pan and burns. Salt and pepper to taste. Add bacon bits. Hint: I cook bacon bits in microwave so they are crisp. Can omit broccoli if you just want potato cheese soup or don't like broccoli.
